Jonathan Painter is the pastor of the Lincoln Baptist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended Texas Independent Baptist Seminary and graduated in 2014 with a Master's Degree in Theology. In that same year, he married his wife, Faith, and God has blessed their marriage with eleven wonderful children.

While completing his Master's Degree, Jonathan Painter served on staff at the Lincoln Baptist Church as the Youth Pastor, a position he held for over five years. In 2018, he became the pastor of the Lincoln Baptist Church as the Lord called the former pastor, Todd Painter (his father), to the Kingdom of Thailand as a missionary.

God has continued to bless the ministries of the Lincoln Baptist Church under his leadership. They continue in the old-time religion; they sing the old hymns and preach the Word of God. The church's focus is set on the winning of the lost as they seek to be a lighthouse of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
